Job description: Our NPO client is seeking an experienced Finance Consultant to support them with a number of key initiatives for a 2-month contract.

Reporting directly to the Board your responsibilities will include:

– Leading, mentoring and guiding the finance and accounting team

– Implementing and improving processes and procedures to establish an efficient structure for the finance and accounting function

– Working with the team to prepare monthly financial statements

– Establishing key metrics and KPIs

– Preparing for the year end audit

Requirements

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Finance professional (CPA or equivalent), with experience leading and establishing a structure within a team and guiding an organization through process improvements.

In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:

– Ability to manage a team of direct reports and provide guidance to build knowledge and skillsets of the team

– Working experience establishing and implementing processes and procedures

– Solid communication skills to report to stakeholders
