About the role:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the day to day financial and full cycle accounting activities of the organization.

Responsibilities would include:
- Lead and support the Finance department, setting goals and objectives for the teams and the organization, ensuring adequate systems, resources and training are provided.
- Coordinate all activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general accounting, payroll, special projects and financial planning.
- Month-end and financial reporting including processing accruals and adjustments, reconciling accounts, and preparing monthly accounting statements.
- Prepare financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and information reports as required by the Board, by shareholders, and by lenders.
- Oversee and prepare the annual budget and maintain the forecast for revised expectations throughout the fiscal year.
- Head the year-end review and preparation of reviewed financial statements.
- Managing and coordinating all governmental and customer audits.
- Supervise the Operations function, including inventory management, shipping and logistics, customer support, and office management.
- Regularly review programs and processes in place to ensure Operations are running at maximum efficiency.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting, and possess a CPA designation or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of progressive work experience in a full cycle capacity
- Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Office is preferred
- Experience with payment systems, shipping programs and customer service programs is ideal
- Knowledge of federal and provincial financial regulations and best practices in internal controls
- Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI) translation and transmission.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- High level of integrity, confidentially, and accountability.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
