Job title: Forklift Operator, Emeryville, ON

Job description: You will have:

• Valid Forklift certification from a reputable training facility
• Ability to load multiple types of trailers (i.e. vans, flatbeds, step decks, sprinter trucks)
• Previous experience as a Material Handler working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Able to read, write, speak English

You will be doing:

• Operating lifting devices, i.e. forklifts
• Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms and lifting devices
• Support inventory control with accurate documentation
• Accurately weigh and document materials
• Ensure material handling equipment is safe and functioning correctly
• Ensure all production rack tags are true and accurate for inventory and material is stacked and stored in above expected condition for final delivery to customer
• Support all production needs i.e. load log magazine, move good material into correct locations assist with packing off the line and dump and movement of scrap and scrap bins onto correct scrap trailers
• Other duties assigned when needed

Your physical abilities:

• Physically able to stand and walk for long periods of time, perform repetitive lifting up to 50lbs, overhead reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling
