Job description: Work Location: Candidate are required to work at various locations as per company contracts.

Wage Rate: $28.25 Hourly, for 40 Hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Early Morning, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Morning, Evening

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Languages: English

Major Work Area: Construction, Renovation

Position is available and open to Students, Youth, Indigenous people and Newcomers to Canada.

Job Duties:

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements.

· Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.

· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

· Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

· Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.

· Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Large workload, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Overtime required, Handling heavy loads.

Work Site Environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty.

Personal Suitability: Client focus, Team player, Accurate, Reliability, Effective interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, supervise other workers, Estimate costs and materials.

Other Information: Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
