Position Overview:

As a Quality Control Assessor located with the Lower Mainland in Beautiful British Columbia , you will be responsible for on-site monitoring of the construction stages during a homeowners build while providing support, instruction, and education on building standards and codes. In conjunction with working along side and maintaining a great customer focus, you will ensure company quality standards are being met and inspections of homes are completed.

General Overview of Quality Control Assessor position:

On site monitoring and reporting on the various construction stages of the build, providing support and education based on building code standards, and performance guide standards.

Building and maintaining relationships with our builder clients.

Monthly road trips (3-5 days/month) will be required.

Representing the company in Trade Groups and Industry Associations/Events.

Requirements & Skills

On-site construction trade experience is required.

Knowledge of the residential construction industry and procedures, understanding current building techniques, industry challenges and product knowledge.

Self-driven and motivated while working independently.

Time management and strong organizational skills.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Technical competency – reporting is done on tablets, laptops and phones.

Construction related certificates/tickets will be considered an asset, but not a requirement.

The employment offer will be contingent upon completion of a successful background check and drivers abstract.

Alberta and British Columbia have legislation in place to ensure with exception that builders provide their clients with new construction or renovation warranty, adheres to proper building techniques, building code and legislated performance guidelines.
