About the role

We are looking for a HR Analyst to join our National Direct Distribution HR Team.

Permanent position based in either our Toronto or Anjou office.

With your data & reporting experience, innovative approach and collaborative style, you will play a key role in driving our people decisions and business operations forward.

As a member of the National Direct Distribution HR team, you will play an important role to analyze and bring the audience on a journey with the data. Working to identify and understand key trends and patterns to drive better recommendations and decisions. If you are passionate about data, building engaging presentations and collaborating with both business and HR stakeholders, this is the role for you.

Here’s how you will make a difference.

  • Gather HR data & analyze reports to support the operational management for the Direct Distribution Business Unit
  • Create regular KPIs for assigned Business Unit to drive operational initiatives
  • Respond to data inquiries from HR & Business leaders to deliver exceptional metric driven value-add
  • Conduct analysis and research including best practices for improvements, efficiency, and reporting optimization
  • Develop various cyclical business facing presentations built around people data (employee engagement, talent & succession planning)
  • High collaboration with key stakeholders (Operational HR & Centre of Excellence HR teams) on various reporting initiatives and projects
  • Act as our Workday & Power BI subject matter expert for the Direct Distribution HR Team
  • Participate in wider HR projects/initiatives as required

What you bring to the table.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, data analysis, business analysis or human resources or any combination of training and experience deemed relevant for the role.
  • Minimum of 2 years in an analytics role
  • Strong data analysis & data visualization abilities
  • Strong ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
  • Superior attention to detail and commitment to data integrity
  • Demonstrates initiative and ability to seek out answers to questions and solve problems
  • Demonstrated communication skills, including written and presentations
  • Demonstrated innovative mindset and a change advocate
  • Knowledge of a data visualization tool (ex. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge of Workday platform and reporting module (is an asset)
  • Previous work experience in an HR role (is an asset)
