As a valued member of the provincial Database Services team of 19 DBAs, the Senior Database Administrator will deliver quality service in a fast-paced and high-energy environment. You will work independently and within a team to perform complex database tasks, in support of mission-critical Oracle and SQL Server databases for AHS. You will be responsible for database backups, failovers and monitoring; data refreshes of non-production environments; security/audit compliance and security patching; application/database configuration and version upgrades. There is evening and weekend work and on call support in a rotation of 12 people. To be successful in this role, you must have the ability to work collaboratively within the Database team and with various application, architecture and technical teams.

Description:
