Senior Systems Administrators
Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure, the Senior System Administrator establishes the platform building blocks required for organization-wide use which may consist of cloud and on premise systems, devices and components. The role is accountable to oversee and maintain all aspects of a company’s compute infrastructure.
- Your background and qualifications:
- Four year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in an Information Technology or Mathematics & Applied Science field of study.
- Five years’ directly related experience in system administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows, Linux and Desktop Operating Systems.
- Advanced knowledge of IT best practices, methodologies and techniques related to system administration.
Senior Database Platform Administrator
Reporting to the Senior Director, Infrastructure, the Senior Database Administrator (Senior DBA) is responsible for the life cycle management, security and compliance requirements of SGI’s database environments. This includes the management and performance of databases and data technology tools. The Senior DBA focuses on database availability and optimization tuning. This role works closely with the Data, Application, and Cloud Architect roles to provide oversight, planning, guidance and recommendations to evolve and transform the data environment.
- Your background and qualifications:
- Four year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in an Information Technology or Mathematics & Applied Science field of study.
- Five years database administration experience.
- Advanced knowledge of implementation and management of a range of database environments.
- Advanced knowledge of database security models, modern monitoring tools and solutions.
Senior Identity Analyst
Reporting to the Chief Security Officer, the Senior Identity Analyst is focused on planning, developing and designing technical hybrid cloud solutions along with policies, principles and standards required for the centralized provisioning and de-provisioning of identities and accounts, protection and authentication of identities, and the authorization to access resources and/or perform certain actions.
- Your background and qualifications:
- Four year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in an Information Technology or Mathematics & Applied Science field of study.
- Five years’ relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of identity and access management best practices, methodologies and techniques.
- Advanced analytical skills to analyze business and technical requirements and relate them to appropriate identity and access management controls.
