Job description: ABOUT THE job

We are currently looking for an Inside Sales Representative for a mid-sized metal products manufacturing unit in Mississauga. The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) role is to enhance the customer experience by providing timely technical information and pricing to the customers.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
– Form proposals based on customer requested specifications, preparing formal quotations, follow up quotations, monitor project status and provide customer service
– Provide quotes, follow ups and excellent customer service to clients and customers
– Coordinate with the project estimator to obtain cost of materials, outside services, labor, and material (inventoried) costs
– Generate professional presentation of proposal, with clear specifications and relevant technical details
– Maximize the hit ratio of closing orders, assess the impact of pricing, delivery and capabilities
– Provide details to outside Sales Reps to assist the outside sales process
– Share relevant competitive information to management and or the outside Sales Reps
– Perform quality after sale service to gather specific order information and provide to Sales Coordinator, confirm delivery dates, and provide scheduling updates as required
– Prospect new and stale accounts
– Update CRM with customer contact and relevant information

OUR REQUIREMENTS
– 3-5 years in a similar Inside Sales Representative role
– Exposure to technical products and technical sales
– Ability to perform basic math including calculations of margin
– Strong telephone presentation skills
– Excellent communication skills
– May require occasional travel to various trade shows
– This is a work from office position
