Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applying cutting edge technologies to modern cloud application development
• Collaborating with UX and Product Management to craft customer-focused solutions and forward-looking product strategy
• Working with a team of high-performance software engineers to architect, design and deliver new products and user experiences
• Working closely with senior technical team to keep the technology competitive and up to date
• Owning a product release from discovery to deployment

Key/Technical Skills:

• Proficient in one or more modern programming languages. (e.g. Kotlin, Java, Scala, C#, Javascript, etc.)
• Firm understanding of REST and gRPC based API’s
• Experience with microservice architecture and design patterns
• Experience / understanding of Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Native, AWS, and Serverless
• High technical standards demonstrated using design patterns, clean coding, peer reviews, and unit testing
• A philosophy of agile software development and experience on handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Meeting deadlines while effectively managing priorities and communicating progress

Education and Experience:

• BS degree in computer science, engineering or other STEM field, or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
• Ideally 3-4 years of software engineering experience
