Job Summary:
As the Senior Vice President, Technology joining our Senior Leadership Group, you will deeply understand the company mission, set our Technology teams’ vision, and reinforce strategy across core teams, in areas such as Technology Operations, Engineering, Architecture and Compliance. You’ll have the opportunity to substantially shape the role as you lead and scale our global team through mentorship and empowerment. You will model iQmetrix core values while embodying our core principles, making a lasting impact on our technology, products, markets, and discipline.

Responsibilities:
- Set out and champion the long-term technology vision while translating company objectives into strategic business plans for Technology Teams, based on knowledge of market and competitive trends
- Maintain a close partnership with Lead of Product, reinforcing the value and importance of being a product led company
- Oversee the development of our technology as well as the technology operations of a Global Team
- Look for trends, root causes, and balance short-term with long-term improvements, providing guidance on changes that need to be made
- Engage with technical leads and inspire the relentless pursuit of technical excellence
- Coach leads to build technology roadmaps, holding them accountable for hitting key milestones
- Inspire, empower, and mentor leads throughout the Technology Teams, dealing with escalations as they arise while developing team’s abilities
- Lead collaboration between Technology and Product teams on capacity planning efforts to ensure alignment and successful delivery of our commitments to the company and our customers
- Work with various stakeholders across the entire Chrysalis ecosystem to ensure a proactive approach in strategic decisions, including hiring and onboarding new team members and/or outsourcing technical requirements
- Work as part of the Senior Leadership Group to set company strategy, partner with our board (SRB), ensuring alignment across our Chrysalis ecosystem
- Work closely with Chrysalis’ Finance Team to set goals and maintain accountability for financial plans
- Support our Revenue Team by participating in strategic sales and/or partnership opportunity calls
- Bridge the gaps between business objectives, customer feedback, technical delivery, and financial viability of product offerings
Qualifications:
- 12-15+ years experience in technology
- 8-10+ years’ experience leading a Technology Team, preferably on a global scale and on an executive-level
- Understanding of both software and data related technologies and strategy
- Preference for background in enterprise retail software and SaaS experience – specifically with retail management, point of sale, inventory management and payments related software products
- Preference for telecommunications and wireless industry experience
- Passion for leading, mentoring and scaling teams to reach their full potential
- Experience leading product organizations through public cloud transformations
- A healthy level of skepticism and an analytical nature: ability to quickly absorb and analyze unfamiliar information to make decisions that are supported by sound evidence
- Eloquent and passionate when speaking with customers and stakeholders while being an ambassador of our Products, Mission, and Values
- A strong storyteller who can motivate, excite, and inspire our team, our customers, and prospective clients
- Insatiable curiosity and infectious excitement about technology strategy
