On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Java Developer – RestAPI.

Java Developer – RestAPI – Job Description

• Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
• Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
• Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
• Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
• Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
• Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

Java Developer – RestAPI – Mandatory Skills

• Java Development (coding, Triggers, Helpers/JSP) – 5+ years of hands-on experience
• REST API (using Java to build REST API) – 3+ years of hands-on experience
• Experience with database – 3+ years of hands-on experience (Oracle preferred)
• Experience in troubleshooting and supporting testing phases and production support using agile approach – 3+ years of hands-on experience
• Comfortable configuring within applications (how objects work in java-based environment) – 1+ year of experience
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required

Java Developer – RestAPI – Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in OpenPages application development with REST API, and OpenPages library – IBM Application – specially OpenPages
• Experience in OpenPages installations, Websphere, AIX, Oracle
• Experience in COGNOS report development using IBM OpenPages. (any report development experience is huge asset)
• Design and develop security rules and role templates (related to OpenPages)
• Experience Configuration of profiles, filters and views (related to OpenPages)
• Knowledge in fast map and object manager loader (related to OpenPages)
