Job description: Our client is looking for a Junior Technology Analyst to help with the evaluation and testing of new transformative technology
*This is a one-year contract in an innovation team, job specific training will be provided*
Must Haves:
- 1+ year experience or a University/College degree in IT
- Problem solving and investigative skills
- Ability to communicate and document conversations with technical and non-technical people
- Passion for new technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Scanning of available productivity technology (software, end user devices, audio, video), comparing options, benchmarking, trouble shooting and gathering user experience feedback
- Articulate how the solutions identified will create business value and align with key business outcomes including collaboration, flexibility, productivity and employee engagement
- Acting as a catalyst in funneling and capturing new and innovative ideas from across the organization
- Provide feedback to relevant teams on execution challenges and recommend alternatives or improvements of proof-of-concepts
- Evaluate a wide set of market insights, customer pain points and support in identifying opportunities for future technology innovation initiatives
- Provide information of technical details to relevant teams as required, for example, alignment of ideas with existing technologies
