Now we want to test a few more things. And we need a Label Technology Program Manager to help us do that.

Job Description

Shopify leverages different Partners and integrations to power Shopify’s shipping products. This role is accountable for ensuring the Partners meet Service Level Agreements, partners ‘work’ within our systems and that the business can track and reconcile costs. You will be a critical bridge between our shipping technology providers and our Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Data and Finance teams. SLAs need to be built/tracked/monitored and revolve around uptime/availability, data integrity/accuracy and timeliness into our data and finance systems.

You will need to be product-minded, detail oriented, have solid relationship skills and have strong project management and cross functional skills to drive impact and success.

Overall, your role will be to develop and execute project plan(s) that include multiple cross functional stakeholders to drive defined KPI outcomes. You will do this by….

• Managing relationships with current and new technology partners
• Deeply understanding how the integrations work
• Aligning KPI definitions for success with cross functional stakeholders
• Testing label purchase and billing flows, to ensure SLA’s are met, that the underlying data is accurate and being captured where necessary
• Establishing systems to monitor KPIs, SLAs and partner performance, as well as evaluating and resolving errors and anomalies if they occur.
• Reviewing invoices to ensure they are accurate for payment
• Documenting all processes and requirements / compliance that enable the project to be successful
• Identifying opportunities for efficiencies or improvements within Partner programs.

Qualifications

• Project management experience within a technology company
• High attention to detail
• Knowledge of North American parcel shipping industry (carriers, charges, etc)
• Great interpersonal skills, with proven success building relationships across all levels
• Adaptability in a rapidly growing, constantly changing environment.
• Being curious and learning from our current team, constantly developing your skills and knowledge.
• Be proactive and relentless: capable of seeking information independently, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results
• The ability to craft and implement light-weight processes that scale efficiently

If you had experience with USPS ePostage and eVS technology and other 3rd party shipping label technology, that would be an amazing bonus.
