What you will do

You are responsible for assisting in the construction and installation of amazing landscape projects and performing duties as assigned to you. You will help meet, or exceed, the goals set out for your crew on a daily and weekly basis. You will hone your skills and develop a career in Landscape Construction and Horticulture. You will be taught by tradespersons who love what they do each and everyday. You will grow as an individual and learn many skills that will prove useful in your future.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

1. Assist the Field Project Manager and Landscape Install Foreman with the execution of landscape construction and installation projects

2. Assist with managing safety, quality and productivity of work at sites and/or shop/yard

3. Assist in the preparation of job sites during the entire course of a project

4. Read and interpret, drawings, and specifications to delegate/complete work activities

5. Assist with the installation of Residential and Commercial Landscape Construction projects with tasks that include: Paving Stone and Natural Stone Installs, Rock Walls, Retaining Walls, Driveways, Walkways, Decks, pergolas & fences, Lawn and Garden Installations etc.

6. Operate various tools and equipment, including: heavy equipment, cut-off saws, jackhammers, laser levels, measurement equipment, shovels, hammers, drills, etc.

7. Move and transport materials using shovels, wheelbarrows, carts, dollies and manual lifting.

8. Perform other manual duties to clean and maintain landscaped environments, shop and equipment.

9. Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment by conducting inspections, lubricating, and cleaning daily.

10. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

11. Comply with all company policies and regulations

12. Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with government and company PPE standards

13. Enforce and work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations at shop/yard and on job sites

14. Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner

Wage and Benefits:
