Description

Tornatech is looking for a Logistics Clerk to join the existing logistics team. The individual will report directly to the Assistant Director of Operations, Valerie. This role will suit a person who is independent, who manages his priorities well and who has good rigour in carrying out his work. The ideal candidate is a team player, able to communicate with customers in the US, has minimal experience in logistics and simply wants to learn and grow. At Tornatech and with all the challenges that the various current social issues can bring, it is important for us that our future colleague is comfortable with several changes and is able work under pressure.

In your day to day you will have to:

  • Prepare daily shipments with different transportation companies
  • Prepare invoices and delivery documents for orders needed to ship
  • Prepare documents for exports and imports
  • Plan transportation based on delivery dates and customer needs
  • Coordinate shipments with carriers and customers
  • Send invoices and packing slips to customers
  • Communicate by phone and email with customers and carriers
  • Perform any other related duties as requested by the head of department
