Job description: A great opportunity to join a dynamic family run business offering wider Supply Chain experience and development as a Logistics Coordinator.
This is an additional role to add an experienced logistics professional to the Supply Chain Excellence team.
We are looking for a confident self-starter that has two to three years proven experience in EU import and export. You will need this to provide the right level of support across finished goods and raw materials transport movements and managing documentation compliance.
This role will be responsible for the management of transport ensuring a secure and traceable Supply Chain to customers whilst maintaining it as a cost-effective solution for the business. You will be supporting the levels of accuracy and compliance needed to manage costs and expectations of customers within animal product businesses. While this role will be more focused on the Import and sourcing of raw materials into the UK you will be cross-trained to cover and support the wider team.

The role offers flexible working so can be based out of their Head Office or one of their other sites.

- Proven EU Import and Export experience
- Understanding of an ERP system
- Interest in Supply Chain Excellence and Continuous Improvement
- Being organised, detail focused and self-starter
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment
- Great communication skills
Any experience with POAO and knowledge around the upcoming changes in Jan 2022 would also be advantageous.
