Our client is currently looking for the ideal candidate to join his Montreal team.

As a Logistics Specialist, your focus will be to qualify the needs of each client, source the right partners and solutions with the Logistics Coordinators assigned to your team.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Interface with carriers and customers to ensure success.
• Collaborate with the “Growth” team to ensure the highest level of service possible.
• Assist the Management Team with logistical troubleshooting.
• Daily updates and tracking for assigned customers.
• Manage assigned carrier relationships.
• Network to improve the presence and reputation of Trinet.
• Ensure timely action of client requests.
• Monitor Emails for prompt response time.
• Ensure accurate data entry & billing.
• On-Call to resolve/troubleshoot Operational roadblocks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of one (2) year of relevant experience in a similar position.
• Experience with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), load boards, and general logistics terms.
• Knowledge of all types of equipment and modes of transportation.
• Ability to work in a computerized environment and adapt quickly to internal software.
• Fluency in spoken and written French and English.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience in pricing and knowledge of transportation routes.
