Job title: Machine (Furnace) Operator

Job description: The operator prepares, load and unload mold assemblies into the heat cycle machine; and performs sandblasting operations to clean up the finished pieces.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

1. Grade 7 or equivalent English language skills (verbal and written).

2. Some knowledge of machine and power tools operations.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Lifting- Up to 10 kg.

• Standing – 8 hours per day
• Able to work in environment temperatures between 30 – 38 degrees Celsius
• Not allergic to dust and metal powders
• No limiting back functions
• Able to wear face shield, safety eyeglasses and hearing protection for the full shift
• No colour blindness, visual and hearing impairment
• Able to keep good work attendance

WORK ENVIRONMENT * Manufacturing facility – exposed to heat and cold.

• Personal Protective equipment required at all times.
• Noise controlled environment.
• Activity level is high.

JOB REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

Mechanically inclined, no experience required. We will train.

Problem Solver.

Team oriented.

Permanent legal working status in Canada.
