Janssen’s BioAdvance Patient support program accompanies many of our medications and helps bring treatment and related services to our immunology and oncology patients. The BioAdvance operations team is responsible for exquisitely running and constantly improving the single largest PSP program in Canada. We are looking for a Manager, BioAdvance Systems and Technology (Program Management) to join our Toronto office.
In your role, you will have 2 key priorities:
- Lead and evolve the systems and technology currently in place to support the delivery of all BioAdvance services.
- Design, develop and deploy future solutions that will help craft the future of our program.
The BioAdvance Systems and Technology Manager leads all aspects of a team of 5 – 7 Analysts and reports directly to the Director of BioAdvance Operations. Major responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with BioAdvance team to assess evolving program needs and identify improvements to our existing patient management systems.
- Help advance BioAdvance’s ability to support health care providers as well as engage patients throughout their treatment journey, using emerging technologies.
- Map key processes and assess opportunities for innovation and improvement
- Coordinate, prioritize and lead a team of 5-7 analysts to implement required technology improvements.
- Collaborate with existing vendors related to BioAdvance systems and identify new vendors where required to advance future capabilities.
- Lead integration of existing systems with internal and external partner platforms. Develop ability to exchange information with partner systems to further integrate seamless operations of BioAdvance.
- Handle budgets related to all BioAdvance systems and technology solutions.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the detailed execution of technology projects
- Team Leadership: lead a team of technology professionals across multiple domains, through organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance. Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Develop detailed project plans to supervise progress, assess and manage risk
- Establish and handle budgets throughout each project
- Develop communication plans and partner with Training to ensure successful project roll-out and ongoing success
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to influence without authority
- Strong learning agility and the ability to operate under pressure in a dynamic environment
- Results-oriented and self-motivated with a University degree in a related field, MBA an asset
- Excellent communication (verbal & written) and problem-solving skills, outstanding customer orientation
- Demonstrated success leading integrated business systems, with a minimum 5 years’ professional work experience. Experience consulting on SFDC solutions an asset.
- Strong communication style with business partners
- 5+ years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution
