Job title: Manager, Finance Operations

Job description: Cardinal Health, with over 1300 employees in Canada, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares, and interprets financial reports including month-end reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization’s assets.

Manager, Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes for Canada including third-party partnerships. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, new account setup and credit establishment, and fully cycle accounts payable/receivable.

Your Contributions to the Organization will be:

Manages department operations and leads operations team

Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals

Ensures employees operate within guidelines. Coaching for performance and establishing goals and development plan

Decisions have a short-term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers

Interacts with direct reporting team, peers, customers, internal partners, third-party partners, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management

Ensures performance of third-party partners, including KPI deliverables and DSO and DPO service levels

Responsible for reporting, forecasting and month/year-end close

Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects

The Job might be for you if you:

BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field

Advance Degree may be required

8-12 years of experience in the role

Knowledge of JD Edwards and SAP preferred
