about this team
The core mandate of the Fulfillment Analytics team is to solve global fulfillment business problems and support management of business performance using data science, including statistical, machine learning and analytics techniques.
The team is critical in enabling disciplined management of service, cost performance, and optimization initiatives across fulfilment functions (Inbound Logistics, Trade Compliance, Distribution, Outbound Logistics) globally, through design and development of reporting and analytics, deployment of key management routines utilizing reporting, and driving key decision analysis for supply chain through data science.
a day in the life: what you’ll do
Manage a team of data scientists and analysts to build out the reporting and analytics portfolio for Global Fulfillment
Define and build dashboarding and reporting for the key performance indicators (KPIs) and diagnostics to measure performance against Global Fulfillment business goals
Support functional teams in managing fulfillment business performance by identifying key trends and opportunities using data science
Compile, integrate, and analyze data from multiple sources to answer business questions
Develop content and support facilitation of global fulfillment management routine empowered by reporting and analytics – Quarterly Business Reviews, Monthly Business Reviews, etc. – to effectively deploy reporting to manage the fulfillment business
Partner with our Technology teams on monitoring ongoing data quality and model performance
Establish, mentor and foster a Center of Excellence ‘COE’ community for data science, reporting and analytics in Supply Chain to support functional teams in operational reporting
qualifications
Highly proficient in mining large & complex data sets using Python, R, SQL; and utilizing statistical, machine learning and analytics techniques
Experienced with data visualization, particularly in Power BI, and knowledge of best practices in reporting structure
Strong familiarity with the functioning of the flows, architecture, and optimal structure of data: competence to acquire data needed to drive results
Proven experience creating executive-level data visualization reports in Power BI and other applications
Strong people management skills with the proven ability to develop, mentor and coach teams
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and communication skills
BA/BS degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in a similar field with experience in a management role
Experience in Supply Chain, Operations and the Apparel/Footwear industries preferred
