Job Description

The Governance & Control (G&C) function is part of first line technology operations focused on managing operational risk and is responsible to operationalize and execute Global Technology risk strategy. G&C aligns with leadership to set the risk culture, supports IT in identifying and mitigating risks end to end and provides an objective view of key risks to enable business decisions. G&C also provides processes, data, skilled resources and insight to track accountability and enable risk-based decisions. The function is responsible for measuring performance against mandatory requirements such as risk standards and providing an enterprise view of the operational risk posture.

We are hiring for Manager, Global Technology Governance & Control to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the maintenance of the process, risk and control framework

Monitor performance of control measurement, aggregate results, analyze trends and recommend remediation

Support risk and control assessment initiatives, monitor performance, aggregate results and analyze trends, make recommendations for process improvement

Support the development of methodology and taxonomy definition for risk and control activities

Support initiatives related to pre-audit examinations, coordinate cross-segment audits, monitor coverage & performance, analyze trends, make recommendations for continuous improvement

Coordinate cross-segment audit impact assessments, monitor results, escalate performance issues

Develop and maintain recurring weekly and monthly reporting including project scorecards, trackers, dashboards, summaries etc.

Build a systematic process to aggregate information for performance metrics (tier 1, 2, 3 metrics)

Monitor and assess implementation of corrective action plans, provide recommendations as needed to comply with applicable control standards

Attending and supporting touchpoints with Global Governance and Control team

Qualifications:

You will bring many of these qualifications and continuously build upon the following skills.

Ideally minimum 3-5 years of progressive leadership in the areas of Information Security / Operational Risk Management / Business Resiliency / Technology Risk strategies, principles, processes and deliverables within a large enterprise / Project management

University degree (Computer Science, IT, Business or related discipline preferred)

Previous experience in Internal / External Audit or Operational Risk Management is preferred

Expertise in best practices of various aspects of information risk management/operational risk management/internal audit

Working knowledge of GRC frameworks & systems (Archer is preferred) is an asset

Strong verbal communication skills and ability to convey comprehensive ideas concisely

Strong competencies in collaboration, problem solving and influencing key risk decisions

Flexibility in working hours to due to global team
