About the Job:

Mindwire Systems is seeking the services of a Manager, Information Technology for one of our Valued Private Sector Client.

Client Location: Ottawa, ON

Type of Role: Permanent, Full-Time (Hybrid Environment)

Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Manage our global information technology function, including the IT team and managed service vendors, to ensure a client-focused support function and well-managed IT operations. Ensure delivery of services through excellent change, availability, and capacity management.
• Manage relationships with vendors and execute procurement business processes to deliver IT services and any IT projects on the annual or multi-year strategy.
• Standardize and maintain documentation related to core IT technology, security controls, and IT processes and policies. Ensure business continuity and risk management practices are established and regularly reviewed and tested.
• Engage & build relationships with business unit stakeholders, and Corporate Services leadership to identify gaps and understand pain points with IT assets and services to inform future iterations of the IT strategy & project portfolio.
• Collaborate with IM/IT/IS and Corporate Services leadership to develop, maintain and deliver on the multi-year IM/IT/IS Strategy
• Contribute to the IM/IT/IS team’s growth mindset, by sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues, and junior resources, and establishing/implementing your own career-growth plan.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Relevant experience (4+ years) and education in the fields of Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• Extensive knowledge of IT assets and service administration, IT networks, IT security and data privacy frameworks, and cloud computing; preferably including:

• Microsoft 365, Azure Cloud and Azure AD
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune
• Microsoft Windows Server deployment (policies & configuration management)
