HOURS OF WORK:

8-hours shifts – Monday to Friday
Work schedule may be changed to meet operational needs.

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting directly to the Corporate Director of Nursing and Professional Practice, the successful candidate assumes the duties involved in all local management of daily operations of the facility, in collaboration with the medical director and/or head of the department assigned to the facility, by engaging the key stakeholders and liaising with the Network’s leadership team. The incumbent assists the manager in the management of services by handling administrative tasks and works in collaboration with a group of managers to handle non-clinical tasks. The incumbent also represents the Catholic hospital in which they work, as well as Vitalité Health Network, with various partners and within the community.

The successful candidate reports directly to the Vice-President of Clinical Services and the Vice-President of Medical Affairs with respect to coordinating hospital activities. The incumbent also has functional relationships with all Leadership Team vice-presidents.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Undergraduate degree in health, administration or management
  • Master’s degree (business administration, public administration, health services management) considered an asset
  • Two to five years’ professional experience relevant to the position and/or in health services management
  • Excellent knowledge of the hospital system, its administration and its legal framework
  • Ability to work based on results-oriented objectives
