Reporting to the Chief Information Officer, the Manager, IT Solutions Delivery is responsible for providing direction to technology-related projects and initiatives for the organization. The Manager provides leadership to program area(s) and the Division by fostering collaboration and respect among team members. The Manager ensures that the administration, planning, management, and operation of program area(s) aligns with the goals of the Division, the District, and its collaborative partners.
The Manager, IT Solution Delivery will be a strategic information technology subject matter expert leadership with a solid background in capital planning, project and program management and implementing digital solutions in the range of $5 million per year. This includes modernizing current business systems and implementing new digital services for the citizens of Saanich.
The preferred candidate will bring a bachelor’s degree in computer science and relevant certifications (including the ITIL Service Management Foundation Certificate) and will have a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience, including a minimum of three (3) years in management. An equivalent level of education and experience will be considered. Successful candidates will demonstrate advanced communication, technology investment planning, and analytical skills, with the ability to direct complex projects and operational requirements.
