We currently have an exciting opening for a Manager, Technology and Information Delivery. The Manager, Technology and Information Delivery is responsible for providing leadership in the areas of development, implementation and adoption of custom information systems within Fraser Health. The products we build and support use technology to improve the prevalence of analytics within FH and focus on improving patient and employee outcomes. Working with FH Leadership, Corporate, and Clinical Support Services, this position is responsible for several teams including a dedicated development team and a support team that connects our client needs with analytics.

System Optimization, as the name suggests, operates at the intersection of people, processes, technology and data as we collaborate within the organization to improve how information flows and is acted upon. This position is instrumental with working with FH leadership and formulating the vision for implementing key, customized technologies.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Work closely with developers to plan and deliver product and technical improvements
• Identifying opportunities to capture and distribute information
• Prioritize asks from a multitude of clients
• Mentor and coach team members
• Manage recruitment, performance management, orientation and training of employees
• Work with the SO team and clients to provide feasibility and innovative technical solutions

The ideal candidate would have experience in the following areas:

• Working in a SCRUM environment
• Experience as a SCRUM product owner
• Programming experiences in ASP.NET,
• Working with C# and/or JavaScript, and
• Knowledge of MS SQL and
• Familiarity with development on Azure and React Native
• Familiarity with the Power Platform

As the successful candidate, you have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science or a related field plus seven (7) years management experience in a medium to large sized organization working with computerized health information systems, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

This regular full time position is based at our Central City offices in Surrey, BC, with access to rapid transit, shopping, restaurants, on-site gym and other amenities.
