Job description: Position Purpose

The Infrastructure manager will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective hardware and network technology solutions for Store and non-Store locations (Next Generation, Mobility, Desktop & Peripheral strategies). The Infrastructure manager will also network between business and technical teams on on-going projects. This will also include monitoring progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met along with defining and implementing IT policies, procedures and best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Work with team members and cross functional teams to define and scope new projects usually associated with bringing new (next generation) products into production.
• Provide work breakdown structure for assigned projects.
• Provide baseline budget and schedule estimate for projects.
• Work with people managers to identify resources.
• Use Service Now/JIRA to assign/track tasks and due dates.
• Lead project team meetings and facilitate tracking/completion of action items.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports on all assigned projects.
• Interface closely with manufacturing and 3rd Party Vendors to release new products into production.

Experience / Knowledge Required:

• Must fulfill minimum time-in-position (1 year) and performance management code requirements (M+, Meets Expectations and Consistently Demonstrates).
• 5+ Years of Relevant Work Experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Equivalent Work Experience..
• Ability to attract, motivate and retain top talent.
• Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization (analyst to vice-president).
• Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, upbeat, can-do, professional and responsible attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented.
• Influential; practiced in negotiating with others in ways that result in win-win outcomes.
