Hybrid Work Model

SLC Management operates in a hybrid environment with a mix of in-office and virtual work where our employees are empowered to do their best. Generally, employees are expected to work three days in-office each week with flexibility depending on their business, client and team needs.

Role Summary

Reporting to the SMD, Head of SLC IT, the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the strategic vision, roadmap and execution of Client Experience and Advanced Data & Analytics technology capabilities across Pan-SLC portfolios and ecosystem. The role will additionally oversee the newly created Technology Innovation practice across Pan-SLC.

The ultimate objective is to enable best in class advanced technology solutions and capabilities to realize significant SLC-wide positive business outcomes through implementation of E2E use cases in Client Experience and Data capabilities with Client focus at heart.

What will you do?

Lead the vision and implementation of the strategic and modern Data and Analytics technology capabilities in support of expanded Pan-SLC needs

Support implementation of IDH (Investment Data Hub) through dedicated technology resources and complement IDH with the focus on additional value-add E2E business use cases across SLC and additional technology capabilities

Define integrated technology architecture enabling E2E Pan-SLC Client Experience and Data and Analytics business use cases, building on IDH as a core foundation

Partner with Client Experience business owner to build strategy and deliver on priority objectives such as Client onboarding, Portals, Digital capabilities, Data, Client reporting, Client Insights, Client Service models

Evaluate affiliate data integration needs and define data architectures and solutions to support flexible integration through best-suited Technology solutions.

Evaluate and implement modern Data and Analytical architecture solutions such as Data Mesh, Data Virtualization, Snowflake, AWS Cloud, Data Visualization and other to achieve desired business outcomes

Lead the definition and prioritization of E2E business use cases across Pan-SLC across its value chain, define data architectures and capabilities, and project plan

Define business use cases and execute iteratively to produce value fast to create quick wins and realize incremental value

Lead SLC’s Technology Innovation practice

Implementing Data Governance tools and solutions in support of SLC’s CDO needs

Architect and implement Client Experience solutions in partnership with Client Experience Business Owner to deliver on SLC’s Client focus agenda

The Managing Director, Data and Analytics, Client Experience and Innovation Technology Owner will lead a dedicated team of technical SME’s and closely partner with SLC’s CDO and Data Ops team, Client Experience Business Owner, Affiliate CIO’s and various stakeholders in the organization to deliver on the mandate.

What will you need to succeed?

Proven experience and deep knowledge in various modern Data and Analytics platforms and technologies (Data Virtualization, Data Mesh, Snowflake or similar, Big Data/AWS technologies, etc…), SQL, Markit EDM/EDW, Streaming and Real Time integration, Cloud, API, Workflow, MS PowerAutomate

Proven experience in modern Client and Digital technologies

Strong financial services background, prior work experience in Asset Management, Capital Markets or Wealth with Business Development & Technology background

Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and arbitrate competing priorities within a diverse set of user communities and stakeholders (internal and external)

Strong decision making, outcome driven, influencing, leading change and communication skills

Out-the-box creative thinking

The Base Pay range is for the primary location of the job. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
