Our client, an industry-leading manufacturer is adding a proven Manufacturing Engineer to their team in Fergus due to growth. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will come from an automotive background. A snapshot of the Manufacturing Engineer responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Proven hands-on experience in an industrial setting
  • Establish customer requirements and assure they are executed throughout the process plan
  • Quote all projects requiring tooling as necessary
  • Analyze drawings and specifications, create machining and work holding equipment
  • Lead all new and existing technical projects and
  • Create and implement gauges and fixtures into production
  • Play a key role in customer, supplier and contractor interaction for all things technical
  • Using Solidworks develop process drawings
  • Hands-on assistance troubleshooting matching issues

Qualifications:

  • Engineering Degree or Diploma preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of Automotive
  • Design experience, Solidworks preferred
  • Previous experience with Tooling and quoting
