As the Marketing Analytics Manager, your contributions will transform Versapay’s Marketing programs by influencing the decision-making process through advanced analytics. As a successful candidate, you love to deeply understand how things work, share your knowledge to empower others and build functionality to increase the collective intelligence of Marketing’s contribution to the company’s bottom line. You’re able to balance the work to address “quick fix” solutions while developing a strategic analytical framework to elevate the quality in decision-making. This rare opportunity allows you to tap into your innate desire to build and own new marketing analytics capabilities, accelerating your experience and skillset.

Reporting to the VP of Customer Acquisition, you will lead advanced marketing reporting, analytics and measurement capabilities and play a key role in optimizing lead quality and performance. Your contributions will ensure the company accurately tracks and attributes the multiple touch points across the consumer journey for the purpose of optimizing the moments of truth. You will enhance the reporting standards via our CRM, Email Marketing and Data Visualization platforms. Additionally, you will play a leading role in elevating the Marketing team’s knowledge of business drivers to drive marketing effectiveness across the org. This is a key and central role, so collaboration is key to winning. You will work closely with our Sales, RevOps, MOPs and Business Analytics teams to ensure best practices are deployed across the board. To accomplish this, you’ll need 5 – 7 years of relevant industry experience in Marketing Analytics, Business Intelligence or Data Science. Master’s degree preferred in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related discipline.

What you’ll do

  • Drive growth and efficiency: Identify new opportunities to grow efficiencies through paid, owned and earned marketing channels.
  • Develop tracking and measurement best practices: Collaborate with MOPs to build advanced lead tracking and measurement models to strengthen the quality of feedback and lead optimization decision-making.
  • Develop learning agenda: Become the driver of building a learning agenda across Marketing team for continuous testing and learning.
  • Build reporting excellence: Collaborate with Business Analytics, RevOps and MOPs to build advanced reporting capabilities.
  • Strengthen data quality and integration: Partner with MOPs to ensure the highest standards of data quality and integration with key platforms to understand the sales and marketing influences on the full buyer’s journey.
  • Provide thought leadership: Educate stakeholders on best practices and coach the team of talented marketing professionals on best practices

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Data driven: Able to translate data into actionable insights, hypothesis and testing focused, experienced at teaching other marketers how to use data to drive step-level improvements. Always curious, always motivated to learn and try new growth opportunities. Experienced in building analytical models around lead-scoring, attribution and more.
  • Strategic thinking: Applies a full funnel approach and understands bookings are the benchmark of effectiveness and ROI of marketing efforts. Sees beyond the day-to-day work to help reach bookings and revenue goals.
  • Detail oriented: Can work independently to bring all assigned work to completion with speed and accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Able to coordinate, influence and lead cross-functional initiatives that require buy-in from key stakeholders in RevOps, MOPs and beyond. Leads change in a positive and inclusive way.
  • Agility: Highly adaptive in the face of ambiguous and complex problems, taking a flexible and open-minded approach to new challenges. Able to seamlessly alternate between various tasks and roll with the punches when things change.
  • Platform/tools expertise: Expert knowledge of analytics platforms like Google Analytics 360, Salesforce, Hubspot, Tableau and major ad platforms.
