What You Will Be Doing
Our client is excited for their next phase of growth and have an opportunity for a Marketing Leader to oversee the planning and execution of the overall global marketing strategy. As a member of the Executive team, the Marketing Director will be a strategic thinker who can roll up their sleeves to ensure the work gets done. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things digital, brand storytelling, executing enterprise-wide strategy, and developing award-winning campaigns.
- Develop appropriate creative and implementation strategies for building Spirit of Math’s brand image within its industry, soliciting appropriate input from Company management and franchisees.
- Develop and implement appropriate strategies for generating effective public relations exposure on behalf of Spirit of Math.
- Planning, implementing, overseeing, and analyzing the success of the enterprise marketing strategy and all associated activities
- Develop and submit, as requested, detailed budgets for the Marketing Department and consolidating the marketing budgets globally.
- Ensuring brand standards are maintained in all marketing activity.
- Oversee developing new marketing materials as needed.
- Planning and leading a team to promote annual campaigns in Canada and around the world.
- Leading a team to create procedures and materials for Campus Directors/Owners to promote annual campaigns at the local level.
- Ensure social media strategies are implemented and expanded as needed.
- Maintaining relationships with marketing-related vendors and suppliers
- Participate in annual conventions, seminars, or business meetings, and attend franchise grand openings, as directed.
- Integrating IT platforms and technologies to track KPIs, and success metrics in all stages of the client journey.
- Develop relationships with external organizations (e.g., advertising, and public relations agencies; market research firms; etc.) as necessary to assist with the development and implementation of Spirit of Math’s marketing efforts.
- Advising marketing managers and the teams on marketing strategy and tactics for campuses
- Working with, and advising the Education Standards Director on marketing training content
- Coordinate and oversee the appropriate input of franchisees into the overall marketing process.
- Coordinate administrative staff to implement approved marketing activities.
Requirements
- Post-secondary degree in business or marketing related field (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in marketing including conducting marketing campaigns in a number of media including television, radio, print and online advertising; global marketing experience a strong asset.
- Minimum of 2 years’ leadership experience including management of relationships with external marketing-related vendors
- Ability to manage multiple projects and processes simultaneously at a global scale and follow through to completion.
- Experience with digital marketing strategy to enhance lead generation
- Advanced computer skills and familiar with Adobe software, online marketing, PR and social media.
- Proficiency in data collection and analysis in relation to marketing campaigns.
- Proven ability to plan and manage marketing budgets.
- Ability to travel to campus locations on ocassion.
