The opportunity:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing for Business Protection and Regulatory Change, this is a key role within the Global Advisory Marketing team, supporting the Global Technology Consulting practice. The Marketing Manager will develop and implement effective marketing programs that address the agreed business plan and priorities. This role will be responsible for developing and executing marketing project plans for key components of campaigns including developing the necessary messages and collateral for our global account and sector teams to promote our capabilities and generate revenue. This is a challenging role that will involve day-to-day liaison with business leadership and marketing and communications teams across KPMG international and within member firms. All outputs and activities must be to the highest possible standards.
What you will do

  • Execute marketing programs effectively, closely measuring and adapting to ensure the best outcomes
  • Plan and implement a variety of marketing activities aligned to and in support of Global Technology Consulting, Advisory
  • Assume ownership of the creative development of materials including editorial content, thought leadership, digital materials (e.g. infographics and social media content), Flagship credentials and other client facing materials
  • Work with the communications teams to effectively communicate campaign elements to internal and external audiences to build awareness and adoption for the campaign
  • Work closely with countries and senior leadership, ensuring they use the global programs and best practice is shared across the global organization.
  • Working collaboratively with industries marketing teams to drive the development, production and distribution of industry specific thought leadership including research, editorial and social media content
  • Connect and engage with the country-based marketing professionals as well as key account teams
  • Identify and leverage programs and resources in key countries which can be tailored/elevated into the Global program
  • Participate in annual strategic planning process (business and marketing plans)
  • Manage KPIs as outlined by business goalsReview, analyze and interpret financial data, reports, and pipelines
  • Invest time and effort into constantly improving the creative look and feel of our marketing materials to refine the reader experience via infographics, photography, typography and other design elements
  • Manage the development of new sales enablement materials and refresh of existing materials in line with the product and marketing strategy
  • Manage the creative development of other sales and market awareness tools including thought leadership and digital materials always applying a digital-first approachLI-SK1

What you bring to the role

  • A marketing professional with at least five or more years of progressive marketing or business experience, including project management and preferably with strengths in the digital space
  • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing integrated on and offline marketing campaigns to increase brand equity, develop relationships with clients/prospects that lead to revenue generation
  • Experience negotiating and managing third party organizations such as Industry bodies and other influencers and vendors
  • Experience working with senior management and managing virtual project teams with varied skills and backgrounds
  • Demonstrable success in developing and implementing complex (and preferably international) marketing programs – experience of working in a professional services environment will be a distinct advantage
  • Experience creating integrated, issue-based campaigns that leverage a variety of platforms including digital and social media for promoting relationships and generating revenue
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to get buy-in and support for projects from diverse and often widespread stakeholders
  • Experience of the above in a global, matrix context would be very advantageous
  • Technology experience a definite asset
  • Flexible and able to operate in the context of very different cultures and national approaches
  • Self-motivated, proactive and possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to travel internationally as required. Flexibility in hours to accommodate varying time zones
