Job title: Marketing Science Senior Analyst

Job description: As a Marketing Science Senior Analyst, your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you to understand how data and analytics can improve business outcomes for our clients. Of the five sub-disciplines of Marketing Science-tracking and measurement, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, and statistical modeling-you’re a rock star in at least two. Most importantly, you’ve got a solid understanding of how they all fit into a project, and you’re looking to hone your craft in areas you’re unfamiliar with. Also, gaining some leadership experience by providing guidance to junior analysts on daily project deliverables is definitely something you’re up for.

You will:

  • Understand what the data means and where it fits into the clients’ business.
  • Ensure proper communication between the Marketing Science team and other disciplines.
  • Approach analysis process logically to demonstrate how data lead to conclusions.
  • Drive collaboration within teams to provide support, share skills, and gain insight.
  • Confidently manage project delivery expectations and communications to project team.
  • Work directly with clients and agency partners to support delivery of insights

You have:

  • Intermediate to advanced use of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Experience with one or more visualization platforms (Tableau, Domo, PowerBI, Datorama, Google DataStudio etc.)
  • An understanding of Python, R, SQL, or other business-relevant statistical programming languages.
  • Experience working in either paid social and programmatic media or both.
  • Knowledge about media tagging, tracking and data capture approach.
  • An understanding of the digital media landscape, ability to determine which channels are most appropriate based on business objectives, and experience using the data to make recommendations.
  • Understand statistical foundations to deliver impactful test and learn results.
  • A detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organization skills.
  • Strong time management skills to ensure accurate delivery.
  • Confidence in your communication and collaboration skills – especially data storytelling.
  • Ability to efficiently communicate deliveries and delays of project with follow-ups as needed.
  • Well-organized approach to working on multiple projects at once.
  • Passion to always improve your team’s craft through ongoing learning and support.
  • An understanding of how paid digital advertising works alongside other channels, and experience analyzing it.
