In addition to overseeing program clinical operations and quality improvement, the Medical Director will also remain a practicing physician and participate in the interdisciplinary development of clinical practice standards as part of the organizational processes. Strong communication and facilitation skills are paramount, alongside an enthusiasm for the support of education and research.
