The Merchandising team is looking for an experienced Merchandise Financial Planning Analyst to be an integral part of our success by leading the merchandising financial planning and reporting. To succeed, you will have to develop and maintain strong ties with the Merchandising, Finance and Supply Chain counterparts to translate business strategy into a rigorous inventory and financial plan.

If you are passionate for innovation, have a knack for problem solving, and are able to thrive in ambiguity by pushing the boundaries on how the business should think about forecasting and planning, then this role is for you.

Note: This is a hybrid role in the Montreal &/ Toronto area.

What You’ll Do:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to formulate the sales, margin and inventory budget targets, and deliver accurate and timely reporting to relevant stakeholders to ensure appropriate decisions are made;
  • Refine monthly and quarterly forecasting; provide strategic direction to achieve targets based on sales, inventory trends, risks and opportunities; manage and plan inventory positions and pricing strategies to drive sales, profit and sell through objectives;
  • Help merchandising and supply chain business areas to develop their Category Line Review strategies, and assist with building business cases to support investments;
  • Collaborate with the Director of Merchandise Financial Planning to support the weekly, monthly and quarterly business review process; evaluate assortment & vendor performance, and adjust tactics accordingly to achieve sales, margin and inventory objectives.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 3+ years merchandise financial planning experience;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel;
  • The willingness and ability to adapt to new business practices;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Mathematics.
