Our client is a global company in the chemical industry, providing services to various industries across Canada. As they continue to grow, they are seeking motivated Millwrights to join their Hamilton, ON operation.
The main tasks:
- Install and repair machinery and equipment to keep it in good working order.
- Troubleshoot problems and check equipment for faults and performance issues.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on machinery, tools, and equipment in accordance with maintenance schedules.
- Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and drawings to successfully install and run various equipment and attachments.
- Perform welding, repair boilers, pumps, industrial compressors, hydraulic systems, etc.
- Perform technical support for related hardware systems.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and report issues as they arise.
- Carry out additional tasks which contribute to the success of this position.

Requirements:
- Journeyman or Red Seal certification.
- 5 years of experience.
- A solid mechanical understanding and demonstrated experience installing, maintaining, and repairing machines and tools.
- Ability to exert some physical effort, dexterity, and coordination, including lifting, twisting, bending, carrying heavy objects, and working on uneven surfaces.
- Strong computer skills and an aptitude for hardware and software support.
- Ability to use and understand mathematics and numeric.
- Good command of English, written and spoken.
- Valid driver’s license.
