Job title: Online Education Technology Manager

Job description: Tax Executives Institute, the premier professional association for corporate tax professionals, is seeking an Online Education Technology Manager, a new position reporting to the Director of IT & Web Services. This person will be responsible for managing TEI�s Learning Management System (LMS) and helping to build-out our on-demand educational products.

To be successful in this position, the individual should be able to:

�

  • Manage TEI�s Learning Management System (LMS), including developing and maintaining courses, workshop, webinars, and programs, and provide technical and customer support for LMS users.
  • Support the CE department with coordination and execution of virtual and hybrid learning events and contract training programs, including chapter, regional, and Institute-level events.
  • Liaise with vendors, partners, and presenters, to develop online programs, monitor registrations, coordinate communications, manage participant evaluations, perform CPE/CLE verification and track registration and revenue history.
  • Support speaker selection and manage presenters for TEI�s online learning offerings.
  • Provide Director of IT & Web Services (and other TEI staff) with scheduled reports on program registration, revenue/budget goals, LMS usage, evaluation feedback, etc.
  • Solicit, draft, edit, and manage professional development resource content for customers and members (tax professionals).
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing plans related to TEI�s educational offerings and professional resources.
  • Create and deliver presentations related to TEI�s professional development and resource work as necessary.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
BA/BS degree and five or more years of progressive experience in a membership-based organization, managing a Learning Management Systems (LMS) and contributing to the design and development of online professional development and e-learning programs. Experience with professional association event management a plus. Experience working with NASBA and state CPE certification organizations also a plus.

TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

  • Possess an excellent Office 365 skillset (advanced skill level or higher)
  • Experience at a basic skill level using an Association Management System (TEI utilizes NetFORUM Enterprise)
  • Must have intermediate skill level experience using a Learning Management System (TEI currently uses BlueSky Path)
