Aon is looking for a Partner – Canada Wealth, Retirement
As a Partner, you will be responsible for leading client teams focused on managing the financial risk of their client’s retirement programs. Retirement programs have enormous economic implications for employers. The position is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work virtually and from our office in Toronto.

What the day will look like
You will have the opportunity to work with a broad and diverse array of clients in the public and private sectors. Working with teams of colleagues, you will lead both the delivery of retirement services and the relationship with your clients. You will also have the opportunity to lead in marketing activities, develop new service offerings, and expand your skills through continued learning.
As a member of the Aon Wealth Solutions team and a business leader, you will also work closely with our Commercial Risk, Health, and Reinsurance Solutions colleagues. Additionally, it is critical to understand our client’s needs and do they have the clarity and confidence to make better decisions.
Job responsibilities
- Lead client relationships for large-sized accounts, including critical thinking and problem solving
- Understands all projects involved with a client and makes sure all needs are being met and proceeding on schedule
- Can work through large complex projects and is responsible for the results, including explanations, presentations, and impact
- Has mastered technical concepts and can make interpretations of how they impact clients, including explanations, presentations, and impact
- Develop and participate in effective oral presentations for existing or prospective clients, individually or in concert with team members
- Participate in business development activities
- Proactive in both initiating and leading some discussions internally and externally
- Coordinate resources on different mandates to achieve client results and collaborate on client activities with other experienced team members
- Display confidence, passion, and leadership
- Self-motivated demonstrates the desire to continue to learn and grow and be comfortable going outside your comfort zone
- Supervise, guide, and mentor less experienced colleagues.
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
- 15+ years of experience in pension plan consulting or related field
- English written and spoken
- Organization skills, rigor, and thoroughness
- Proficient MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another related degree
- Fully qualified actuary (FSA/FCIA)
