Pilot Drivers play an important role in making sure that unusually large loads or wide vehicles travel Saskatchewan roads safely. Pilot cars function to warn other road users of the presence of an oversize vehicle, assist in maneuvering the load through constrained areas and keeping traffic delays to a minimum.

Duties and Responsibilities:
– Safely move unusually large loads or wide vehicles that travel Saskatchewan roads
– Warn other road users of the presence of an oversize vehicle
– Assist in maneuvering the load through tight areas
– Keep traffic delays to a minimum
– Preference with be given to those with 1A classification, Pilot Car Training, or previous experience
