Leader Name: Vice President, Organizational Development

As ATB’s next Portfolio Owner, Organizational Development, you are responsible for the end-to-end management of programs to successfully implement scalable learning experiences to help our workforce build new skills to improve their performance, drive business results and thrive in the future. Reporting to the Vice President Organizational Development, you are a passionate learning expert who has a proven track record of managing and delivering innovative learning experiences using design thinking principles, best practices of user experience and digital technologies. You’re a visionary excited to shape the future of ATB Financial, its team members and client experience. This position will continuously improve existing learning processes and programs within Organizational Development and be a key contributor in reimagining ATB Financial’s learning strategy.

Role Accountabilities:

  • Design, build, and implement innovative learning solutions and collaborate with partners and stakeholders, including experimenting, assessing & continuous reiterating to help achieve the needed business outcomes.
  • Introduce cutting edge learning methods to ATB Financial by researching the market and identifying learning trends that are relevant for our workforce in providing best-in-class learning experiences.
  • Create the strategy, vision and roadmaps for the portfolio, and prioritize new opportunities and ideas against the vision and roadmap.
  • Research and understand the subject matter of the portfolio, including understanding client needs and desired user experience.
  • Continually evaluate programs and solutions for not only business impact and quality, but also for scalability and relevance.
  • Understand and manage the interdependencies and relationships between the portfolios, including translating this to project teams and providing guidance as needed.
  • Proactively incorporate change management in delivering new learning experiences and solutions.
  • Implement processes that reduce or remove obstacles that are preventing the accomplishment of operational and business strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with P&C strategic partners, business leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure programs address business needs while accommodating for constraints.
  • Identify, develop and report key performance indicators to show adoption and impact for all projects.
  • Coordinate and manage the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Evaluate and document project lessons learned, and feedback captured, creating future action plans as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Organizational Learning & Development, Adult Education, Digital Technology or related fields
  • 7+ years of progressive/senior experience in Organizational Learning & Development, User Experience, Learning Technology and Digital Transformation
  • Knowledge of Agile and Design Thinking principles, strong project and change management skills
  • Talent development skills, including workforce planning, employee experience life cycle, learning and development and talent development strategy

  • You have the ability to network and cultivate productive working relationships with ATB business partners and external contacts
  • You are a high energy, self-starter who is productive and successful working in a remote, (temporarily) home-based environment, and possess excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills
