Production Coordinator

SUMMARY:

The Production Administrator plays an integral role in providing key organizational support to the Startec C&P Production team. This employee will support the production team by providing day-to-day administration & time management of the production department. Regularly communicating with key stakeholders, the production administrator will be responsible for ensuring all details are captured and communicated throughout the company.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Inputs data from timesheets into Microsoft Dynamics Navision
  • Creates, edits, and runs payroll-related reports
  • Schedule maintenance requirements through Fiix Building Software (CMMS)
  • Maintain and manage asset list within CMMS, work with Production to schedule maintenance.
  • Provide general administrative support for production staff as required, including updating the weekly project schedule dates in Navision
  • Process Expense Reports in a timely manner
  • Schedule meeting requests and manage shop vacation calendar
  • Provide general office support which may include, but are not limited to; mail distribution, filing, catering, ordering supplies, etc.
  • Maintain office equipment such as copier, printers, and supplies
  • Able to assist with on-boarding such as preparing offer letters, processing new hire forms, entering new hires into the TotalPass 600 system, and assigning timecard.
  • Act as point of contact for payroll and HR inquiries
  • Produce and distribute weekly production reports for enterprise.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school Diploma
  • Business Administration Certificate or Diploma would be an asset
  • Previous time entry and/or payroll experience would be an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word & Excel is required
  • Previous experience in fabrication or mechanical Customer Service industry an asset. Fast moving environment.
  • Previous office experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment is required
  • High attention to detail
  • Must have a general understanding of how to manage Work In Progress (WIP)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to prioritize effectively with changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively work in a fast-paced environment
