We are currently hiring for contract, full-time Production Workers in Newmarket, ON, 20 minutes north of Richmond Hill, ON.

Location: Newmarket, ON right off Hwy 404

Morning Shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday

Afternoon Shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm Monday to Friday

Pay Rate: $14.50 to $15.52

Job type: Full time contract

Job responsibilities include: * Able to set up and calibrate mechanical assembly tools used in the assembly process

• Use hand tools such as screw drivers to assemble units according to product specification
• Able to perform a variety of mechanical and electronic assembly operations based on IPC and customer specifications
• Attention to detail
• Great eye-hand coordination
• Other tasks assigned by lead head/supervisor

To qualify, you should: * Previous experience as an assembler will be considered an asset

• Able to lift, carry and maneuver material or equipment (up to 35 lbs)
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, consistently bending, and being able to pull carts
• Proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required
• Attendance must be in good standing
• Comfortable communicating with a wide range of team members
