Job Summary:

Our ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience working on large construction projects with complex clients as well as practical familiarity of the automotive industry!
This is a full-time contract position to be performed remotely. Travel to the U.S. may be required when restrictions are less complicated. This is a virtual role open to candidates currently residing in Canada with valid work authorization. Preference will be given to those in the Eastern time zone.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage/support strategic sessions for partners and teams and drive cross-functional team collaboration
- Provide accountability, dashboards, project plans, milestones and action tracking, status reports and content management
- Implement tools and methodologies to foster team collaboration, coordinated work efforts, knowledge and best practice sharing to increase efficiencies and revenues
- Monitor project performance, schedule, costs, equipment, manpower, materials, safety and environment and quality control
- Coordinate construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule
- Develop and deliver ongoing communications and updates for stakeholders and the field
- Meeting scheduling and facilitation, meeting notes, agenda development, action item creation, distribution and follow-up, track milestones, deliverables, accountability and escalate issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with the project team, trade contractors, architects, consultants, etc.
- Coordinate and manage all partner engagement rates by applying a pragmatic approach to channel outreach
- Coordinate program review outcomes with management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience working remotely
- Previous stakeholder management success
- Related professional accreditation/education (P.Eng, PMP, etc.) preferred
- Training specifically in construction management and/or progressive experience
- Professional exposure to or direct experience with “Detroit’s Big 3”
- High proficiency using MS Project
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively across various platforms
- Thorough, precise, and succinct
- High attention to detail
- Proactive, resourceful, and self-directed
