Job Description & Summary A career in Information Technology, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to support our core business functions by deploying applications that enable our people to work more efficiently and deliver the highest levels of service to our clients. Our Information Technology Generalist – Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

What you’ll create and do

As a Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Identify areas where testing can be automated and be responsible for setting up different testing automation frameworks

Work with and coordinate an offshore QA team to further enhance our efforts in providing stakeholders and end-users a stable experience

Responsible for communication to development teams, UX/UI designers and project managers

Analyze requirements and user feedback, along with architecture documents and design documents for completeness and testability

Create and plan test strategies for large and complex digital projects

Execute test cases and update test documentation, create reports and traceability matrix back to requirements

Create effective test reports and traceability matrix

Review test failures and determine the sources of problems (test deficiencies, deviation from requirements, etc.)

Work with a bug tracking system to record, trace and drive to resolution defects and issues discovered

Support development team in issues reproduction and root cause analysis

Host daily stand ups and be responsible for communicating all issues, status and progress to scrum master

What you’ll bring to this role

Experience working as a lead QA engineer leading functional testing.

Experience with performing functional testing for business applications, large-scale digital projects, and mobile applications

Experience with testing on Adobe AEM and Analytics-based applications is required

Experience with AEM XML Addon would be an asset

Experience managing defect triage/reporting process

Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript would be a plus

Strong experience writing test strategies, test plans, and test cases

Financial services industry experience would be a plus

Strong analytical mindset with good troubleshooting skills

Experience with large-scale software applications in a team environment

Running triage meetings along with producing QA exit reports

Creative problem solving skills

Passion for ongoing personal development, keeping abreast of emerging technology and trends

Ability to understand the big picture and also delve into details

Excellent communications skills and experience interfacing and communicating with others including clients
