Job description: Should have knowledge of export requirement guidelines (USDA) and Annex S (pre shipment for products destined to the US)
- Training of direct reporting employees regarding the agreed standards
- Effective use of corrective actions or corrective action requests
- Effective and timely communication with QA Managers, Supervisors/Production Manager in charge of production areas
- Effectively and timely initiation of the hold procedures to ensure unsafe or potential unsafe products are not shipped to the customer and unsafe products, equipment, machines or tools are not further used in the production process.
- Clear communication with VP ops on Maintenance issues and timely resolutions
- Effective, timely, clear and concise documentation of all food safety and quality controls and corrective actions performed and followed through until completion.
- Use of non-compliance procedure if necessary.
- Providing accurate information of the extent of adherence and deficiencies as well as prepare and initiated effective and timely measures to correct the deficiencies and to prevent from reoccurring.
- To lead the Quality Assurance staff and ensure that they are sufficient trained to perform their assigned work tasks effectively and efficiently. Perform and document regular Performance Reviews for all staff with direct reports.
Requirements
FSEP/ HACCP/SQF Program –
· Ensures monitoring procedures according the documented SQF/FSEP/HACCP prerequisite programs and HACCP plans are carried out effectively, efficiently and correctly and as per the CFIA’s current regulatory requirements. Confirm that all HACCP records are received and verified and that all records are submitted in time, complete and accurate as per SQF/FSEP/HACCP system for Signature Culinary. Develop and implement effective monitoring / deviation and or verification procedures should non-conformance situations occurred and appropriate corrective actions and preventative measures…
· Facilitate the successful completion of the CFIA’s CVS Tasks performed by the government inspector. Ensure that any corrections have been carried out effectively and efficient and as per the documented response to the particular CVS task.
· Responsible for the verification of all FSEP/HACCP prerequisite and HACCP plan records, including CCP records at the program’s documented frequency for verification activities. Work activities include the review of records for completeness, accuracy and conformance to the written program and on-site verification to confirm through observation that monitoring and any deviation procedures are being implemented as per the written program.
· Responsible to develop and maintain a schedule regarding all monitoring activities and verifications activities as per frequencies outlined in the FSEP/HACCP program. Ensures that all direct report personnel follow the frequencies outlined in the documented schedule.
