Zany Consulting Group is seeking exceptionally driven, experienced iShift Key User to undertake projects for one of our clients in Toronto, Ontario.

In this role:

The S4 HANA Toronto Key User (KU) will support the Global Sanofi integrated SAP project named S4 HANA core model design, build and deploy for his/her domain for Toronto site. Supporting the Group’s global strategy, his/her overall responsibility is to align, strengthen and simplify Industrial Business Processes to support standard S4 HANA and its integration in the Information Technology System landscape on his/her site, in order for Sanofi Pasteur to have the same basic fundamentals as Sanofi and become one of the most reliable partners in the Sanofi Network.

The KU represents his/her functional area or department within the site organization. He/she is an experienced SAP user who has in-depth knowledge of the business processes and procedures, currently being used in their functional area or department.

The KU is responsible for roll-out of integrated ERP S4 HANA across Toronto site under the leadership of the Key User Leader of his domain, in line with the Group strategy and SMS (Sanofi Manufacturing System). The KU will interact with appropriate Sanofi Group functions (ITS, Global functions) and Sanofi Pasteur functions (Quality, manufacturing, warehousing, etc.) to share knowledge and develop good practices, etc. The KU will support the site domain change management and value realization activities regarding S4 HANA harmonization target.

Responsibilities in test method validation include:

The KU is required for all phases of the application’s lifecycle from preparation and deploy to post Go-Live, with full time dedication, until the end of hypercare

Before the deploy:

He/she will contribute to the core model design and build of the future standard S4 HANA solution and harmonizes the practices and processes in his/her domain, working with the other sites Key User Leaders, under the leadership of their global Domain Stream Leader:

  • Contribute to iERP S/4 global design preparation & execution
  • Define the target Sanofi ERP architecture, process & organization on their area
  • Support the BPO in the decision making & sign off processes including all GBU and relevant groups
  • Document quality processes & associated key business rules in Signavio.
  • Prioritize the business requirements, support translation into user stories to be delivered during the core detailed design & build sprints.
  • Contribute to the test strategy definition for core model
  • Support when needed connected systems Business Systems owner and contribute to ensure alignment.
  • Identify & handle Human & Organizational impacts for their domain following project methodology
  • Contribute to define value realization drivers on their area related to iERP following project VR methodology
  • Support data conversion core initiative: provide requirements, support the tests, ensure key requirement are captured and covered (e.g. inspection lots migration, genealogy, etc.)
  • Ensure regular knowledge sharing with Toronto Team and support Toronto team upskilling

During the deployment:

He/she will be trained to the new system prior to the users in order to support deployment activities as KU in his/her site with the Key User Leader

  • Identifies and lists all processes, procedures and workflows to update them
  • Contributes to identifying human and organizational impacts of the change in business processes on his/her domain:
  • Necessary organizational changes in the site
  • Resource changes, i.e. new hires, back-fills, headcount changes between departments
  • Training requirements
  • SOP updates
  • Other changes necessary to deliver the defined Value Realization
  • Supports Implementation of the change action plan and supports the Value Realization
  • Prepares Users Acceptance Tests
  • Performs User Acceptance Tests per processes with procedures and workflows
  • Identifies discrepancies and corrective actions
  • Supports data migration activities: data collection, cleaning, extraction, mapping and validation
  • Updates the documents (SOPs) and edits the training documentation for End Users training Trains End Users
  • Assesses and qualifies End Users in order to grant access rights
  • Supports harmonization activities are followed by his/her site on his/her domain
  • Supports the Go-Live and the transition phase
  • Communicates constantly with his/her domain on the harmonized business processes
  • Contributes to the stabilization of the system during hypercare

After the deploy:

The KU will continue supporting the system adoption:

  • Supports business on his/her domain regarding S4 HANA usage and continues promoting harmonization and good practices
  • Leverages users’ skills and making sure that new practices are properly adopted
  • Provides on-going support to End Users on the application usage (functional and technical questions). He/she will be the first level of local support for the End Users
  • Ensures knowledge sustainability of S4 HANA processes & procedure and Value realization:
  • Provides training to new- comers
  • Assesses and qualifies new End Users to grant access rights
  • Conducts periodic training sessions
  • Follows S4 HANA core model enhancement & opportunities to improve ways of working in Vaccines
  • Runs User Acceptance Tests for new release and reviewing training guides
  • Updates SOPs related to the new release
  • Manages the training impacts on revised procedures
  • Contributes to the solution optimization review
  • Participates in ensuring audit readiness for specific Core Models
  • Performs regression tests in order to avoid defect in another solution

Skills and Qualifications:

Education/Certifications: BSc engineering or equivalent

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with SAP
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial experience with vaccines
  • Subject Matter Expertise in a functional business area (existing business processes, mechanisms, principles, transversal view…)
  • Ability to describe new business processes taking into account future requirements
  • Solid knowledge of usage of the system: SAP (fast – learner of new tools and software)
  • Comprehension and execution of PUMA/DECLIC methodology
  • Strict adherence to timelines and ability to work under pressure and manage priorities effectively
  • Experience to edit SOPs, UATs and relevant training documentation
