Overview:

Do you have a diverse range of process design, or business experiences? Are you excited to connect with stakeholders across the organization to listen, elicit, analyze and evaluate the Advisor experience and processes? If yes, join our dynamic new team and help improve the Advisor experience and optimize our processes.

Sun Life Canada Distribution (SLFD) is on an exciting journey to transform the Advisor experience that increases ease of doing business, productivity and Client engagement. Reporting to the Director Business Architecture & Innovation, the Senior Analyst, Business Architecture & Innovation will be responsible for conducting detailed analysis to translate SLFD medium-term strategy into an experience roadmap.

What will you do?

With a business strategy and experience lens, maintain the capability maturity assessments for evaluation by SLFD colleagues

Detail the underlying technical and digital features that support our target state experiences

Drill down into capability mapping by conducting ROI analysis, identifying redundancies or gaps, pain point identification and value chain mapping to identify enhancement opportunities

Sequence and prioritize identified opportunities to create a 3-year capability roadmap

Engage with stakeholders across the organization to conduct business process mapping

Build consensus with partners to define a shared vision of what needs to be built and championing this vision from concept and planning

Effectively engage with partners across Canada and influence with key insights, formal recommendations and strategies

Champion business architecture sponsored low-fidelity pilots for quick wins

Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulatory and policy requirements

What do you need to succeed?

Knowledge – relevant business experience with strong knowledge of insurance and/or wealth business processes

Analysis – prior success leading or analyzing the business evaluation of complex business process

Process Optimization – experience improving business processes and utilizing statistical analysis to identify priorities

Discipline – experience in business analysis, continuous process improvement, or process automation is an asset

Solutions Oriented – ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions

Understanding Value – experience analyzing and solving complex business problems and quantify benefits

Positive Relationships – demonstrated collaboration and relationship management skills to develop effective partnerships

Empathy – ability to empathize and understand different stakeholder lenses (e.g. Advisors, Clients, Head Office)

Effective Communication – ability to create clear and compelling presentations or analysis that support the decision-making process

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
