OUR CLIENT
A well established and reputable award-winning, multidisciplinary firm in Vancouver, BC is hiring for an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their busy and collaborative team. This company is well established and have projects across Education, Industrial, Institutional, Mixed-Use, Recreational, Residential and Retail.

THE JOB
The ideal applicant will have excellent communication skills and work with team members throughout all processes of the project phases. You will be working with clients and design teams to discuss project plans, designs, schedules and proposals, and work according to these to produce high quality working drawing packages, construction documents, details and blueprints. You will attend project and site meetings and use your experience to do mark-ups and make changes to ensure projects are finished accurately and in a timely manner.

WHAT’S REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have the following credentials;

• Architectural Technology Diploma/Certification required
• 5-10 years experience as an Architectural Technologist in an Architectural Firm
• Expertise in Revit and AutoCAD, as well as MS Office suite
• Experience working on project teams and contributing to all phases of project development
• Thorough understanding of BC building code and bylaw requirements to assist with the preparation of documents to meet municipal requirements
• Knowledgeable of different building systems and technologies, including Building Envelope Science
