The Digital Technology team is looking to add a Senior Business Analyst to a well-established global digital team. This position requires someone who is a passionate learner, an independent thinker, works well collaboratively across multiple disciplines, and is comfortable working with a variety of people. This is a chance to get in and make an immediate impact transforming the way our customers interact with us digitally as we shape the next generation of an enterprise-wide Unified Experience. Your work will bridge the gap between business and technology by possessing a strong understanding of both domains. You will engage with the Product Owner for the User Experience to understand desired outcomes and elicit requirements, translating them into functionality that can be implemented by the delivery team.
About the Role
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will:
Develop and Delivery: Apply modern Engineering practices around agile; you will be involved in the entire development lifecycle utilizing agile scrum methodology
Be a Team Player: Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, share information, value diverse ideas, interact with business & technical partner with cross-functional and remote teams
Be Curious & Innovative: Continuously update yourself with next-generation business analyst methodologies, tools, and contribute to process improvements across programs
Have an Agile Mindset: By respecting individuals & Interactions, collaborating with the business and engineers, responding to change quickly, & delivering working software as expected by the business.
Be an Effective Communicator: Through active engagement and communication with cross-functional partners and team members, you will effectively articulate ideas and collaborate on technical developments
Take Ownership: Responsible and accountable for scrum team deliverables across multiple technologies
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Business Analyst if you have:
Basic qualifications:
5+ years experience working as a Business Analyst
Established background in an Agile environment with a proven understanding of end-to-end software development lifecycle, including but not limited to requirements definition, user experience, development practices, testing, and deployment
Experience with scrum ceremonies including Feature & Development refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retros
Experience in Tech Story Prioritization based on Feature and User story prioritization as well as Backlog Refinement ceremonies with SME and Scrum Team
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science or closely related field.
Can write & analyze tech stories including acceptance criteria and use cases
Experience defining non-Functional requirements for Technology Stories
Led and coordinated a team with story splitting utilizing the SPIDR approach
Experience creating Process diagrams and business flow for Tech Stories, managing Business Validation and approval of stories and Product Backlog ownership for integration scrum teams
Experience managing issue defect progress
